This Weekend, my family and I had a weekend getaway to celebrate my mom’s birthday at Santa Fe, NM about 5 hours from home. I have always heard so many good things about Santa Fe, how it was full of art and good food.
Our first stop was to the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market, which according to an article on Pinterest is one of the best Farmer’s Markets in the US. And we were not disappointed. There were so many vendors offering a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and hand made goods.
After the Farmer’s Market we drove a few blocks to the Downtown Plaza where there was a hispanic festival and we saw the miraculous stairs in the Lorretto Chapel, who legend has it that a spiritual angel build the stairs, without nails and with wood that was not found in the area.
