Although we stayed in Kaanapali Beach while in Maui, we spent most of the time, driving and exploring all of the island. On our last morning in Maui, we grabbed some acai bowls (amazing!) and coffee to enjoyed them by the north shore of Kaanapali Beach. After breakfast, I used a snorkeling kit that I had bought in Lahaina for $5 and snorkeled along the black rock where I had read was a great stop to go snorkeling without having to swim far from the beach and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fish swimming so close to the shore. I was hoping to see a sea turtle but loved seeing rainbow fish.
