I love getting dressed in the morning but recently I found myself in an outfit-rut. I think part of the problem was that I have a bad habit of buying very similar clothing items in very similar colors. If you peek inside my closet you’ll find way too many striped blouses in navy and an embarrassing amount of pink dresses. I knew I needed to a bit of a change so I signed up for Stitchfix, something that I have always wanted to try. I answered a questionnaire about myself and a stylist handpicked 5 pieces of clothing for me. Before I received my “fix” I paid a $20 styling fee that was applied to anything that I purchased and selected how often I wanted to receive a fix. I selected to get a fix every two months.
I made sure to answer each question with tons of details and described my personal style as feminine, and classic- wearing lots of neutrals, pinks, and blues. I also shared my body type, sizes, and indicated that I wanted petite clothes. Below is what arrived in my first box. I think my stylist really nailed my style and body type because I can see myself wearing everything that was sent to me. I loved that I was able to try everything at home, pair it with different shoes and I had 3 days to think about what I wanted to keep..
I ended up keeping this adorable shirt dress because I think it perfectly transitions from daytime workwear to a night out by just changing my shoes from flats to heels.
I also decided to keep this cozy pink knit sweater, because I don’t have enough self-control to a say no to a cozy pink sweater. I also love how versatile sweaters are during fall and winter. I can wear it with a skirt and over the knee boots for a put together look, but can also wear with jeans and flats.
Although the black ankle pants fit me well, I decided to not keep the black pants because I already have a pair of black pants that I almost never wear. I returned the brown clutch and striped top for similar reasons, because I already have a brown clutch and way to many striped tops.
I definitely recommend signing up for Stitch fix if you feel that your closet needs a refresh or you find yourself buying the same items. And if you decide to sign up for it make sure to dedicate plenty of time to fill your style profile with as much detail as possible.
Thank you Stitch fix for sponsoring this post.

First of all I love this blog. You photos are so good. Pink is my weakness too. I would have chosen these two items as well. You look beautiful ❤️
