Thanksgiving day is one of my favorite holidays, not only does it involve enjoying a delicious meal with family- it usually marks the beginning of sweater weather and colder day in Texas. This year, I am very much looking forward to heading out of town to El Paso, experiencing cooler weather, and celebrating thanksgiving with my family. I put together 4 different ideas for what to wear on Thanksgiving day.
When it comes to getting dressed for thanksgiving, comfort is my top priority. I want to feel comfortable enough to enjoy a long dinner and not feel too stuffed to have an extra piece of pumpkin pie.
Casual Chic
Start with a plaid blazer, a pair of jeans, and a white sweater or cami for a casual chic outfit with preppy fall vibes.
A classic outfit
For dinner at home, a cozy sweater and jeans is an outfit you can’t go wrong with.
A bit dressy
This madewell dress is so versatile and adding a plaid blazer makes this outfit dressy for a fancier dinner.
A little bit edgy
For a little bit of an edgy look, reach for a sweater dress with black booties
I’m planning on spending all of Thanksgiving week, working remotely from my parent’s home- so I’ll probably wear each of these outfits through the week. Hope this post helps you figure out what to wear during Thanksgiving day.
