Spring is my favorite time of the year. The days are long, the sun shines bright, and the sidewalks dress up in blooming flowers. In central Texas, the empty fields bloom into a rainbow of bright blues and yellows with all kinds of wild flowers. Since this wonderful season is right around the corner, I’m sharing a little yellow spring outfit to serve as inspiration for the upcoming sunny days ahead.
I intend on repeating this blouse and skirt outfit all spring long and beyond. Lately, I have been very into delicate, detailed blouses. This blouse from Who What Wear is perfect for spring. The detailed front buttons, tied sleeves, and tiny flower pattern make this blouse perfect for spring and beyond. Also, this top has a peplum detail that I tucked into the skirt for a more fitted look.
Aside from wearing dresses, skirts are my next favorite thing to wear. I find myself reaching for a skirt on the weekends or work because they are so versatile. Last summer, I feel like I spent it searching for the perfect jean skirt, and I finally found it at Madewell. I am so excited to wear it with a basic tee and tennis shoes for a more casual look.
This straw circle bag is actually from last spring, I bought it right before visiting Alaska and I still wear because it adds a fun touch to a casual outfit. Funny story- my family and I have a running joke about this bag because my Mom once told me that it looks like tortilla holder lol. So now, every time my family would see me wearing this cute bag, they would ask me if I was selling tortillas, lol.
I’d love to know if you’re as excited for spring as I am?
