Happy almost Galentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day/Galentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays because it is a season to show the people in your life how much you love them (whether taken or not) but also because of its color palette, pink and red. I will take any excuse to wear
Last Thursday, I attended a Galentine’s Day Meet up with other local Austin Latina Bloggers with the theme of Self Love. Motivational Speaker, Liliana Beverido gave a quick speech about the importance of learning to love yourself first before learning to love others. Her quick speech resonated so much with me because growing up- I wish someone would have taught me the importance of loving myself and learning that putting my needs before others isn’t always being selfish, but rather self- care. This inspired me to make a gift guide that promotes self-love and celebrating the women in your life. Whether you are celebrating friendships and/or a romantic relationship this year, it’s always important to love yourself first. Go ahead treat yourself!

Self-care water bottle
Ban.do recently launched a line of wellness products to promote self-care! This water bottle has motivational messages that will remind you to stay hydrated. I know I am guilty of not drinking enough water.

Treat yourself or a loved one to a nice bouquet of flowers! One of my bucket list items is to keep fresh flowers in my apartment. Not only do they liven up any space, they also smell wonderful.
A new lipstick
Never underestimate the power of a good lipstick. This Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina has been a favorite of mine for years. It is the perfect shade of dusty rose and will literally last all day.
A peaceful candle
One of my favorite things to do after a long day is lighting a candle. It creates such a relaxing enviroment perfect to curl up with a good book and a tea.
Handwritten Card
There something so special about receiving an unexpected letter in the mail from someone that you love. I recently sent my little sister a handwritten letter from Punkpost and she loved it. Punkpost is a cool service that handwrites the card with your message with cute drawings and decorations.
I’d love to know how you are celebrating yourself and other this season of love?
