Pastel Shoes

Growing up, I wasn’t a “shoe” person. I would much rather buy a dress or a blouse instead of shoes and I always questioned Carrie’s Obsession with Shoes from Sex and The City. However, I have slowly transitioned into a shoe person and I now understand women’s obsession with shoes. A good pair of heels can give you a boost of confidence for an entire day, while an uncomfortable, or overused pair of shoes can distract you from having the best day possible.

Now that summer is in full effect, I will be repeating these cute periwinkle mules all summer long. They have a short heel that makes it perfect to transition from work wear to weekend wear and the block heel makes them as comfortable as flat sandals. I found that dresses that have a little bit of blue in the pattern paired the best with. However, I have also paired them with a white top and white jeans for a fun pop of color.
