I’ve always been a fan of small businesses, in fact, I hope to become a Small Business owner in the future. The recent closures and hardships that small businesses have been enduring has been heartbreaking. I feel really lucky/ grateful to still have a job and have giving back by ordering takeout from local restaurants, ordering facemasks from local vendors, and am planning on updating my spring wardrobe with pieces from local businesses.

Water Color Kit form Paper Craft Pantry
Paper Craft Pantry is one of my favorite small businesses in Austin. I love that they promote creativity through art. They normally host in person workshops, but since that is no longer an option- they created workshop kits! This watercolor for beginner’s kit is perfect to spend a weekend getting your craft on.

I can’t wait to wear this sassy red dress once date night can take place outside of our apartments. This red dress also has a super cute detail in the back.

Made by Mary is one of my favorite small businesses and I own several of their jewelry pieces. I love that each piece is handmade with lots of detail and the piece lasts long and looks beautiful!
The Nap Dress
It’s no secret that I love sleeping and taking naps. So, a dress that I can easily nap in and I can wear all day is a dream! This “nap dress” from Hill House Home is an investment piece- but I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it.
