Last week was quite busy, stressful, and exciting all at the same time. I spent the majority of my day studying for a digital marketing certification (Pardot Consultant). The test focused around scenario type questions so I had to fill my brain with as much knowledge of strategies as possible. But now that I passed it, I can focus my time on this blog of mine.

As you may know, my full-time job is in Digital Marketing at a local Austin agency that is inside of WeWork. Austin is a very casual city and my marketing job doesn’t have a dress code. I could probably get away with wearing pretty much anything in my closet. As far as shopping for work wear, I usually shop at JCrew, Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy or Target. If you’re looking to dress up your usual work attire, here are some cute and affordable pieces that I love:
High waisted pants are pure magic, they are super flattering and easily transition from work to happy hour. The bow tie at the waist adds a sweet detail and make them so much more flattering.
This top from JCrew is perfect for spring and days where it is still chilly or the office is cold. Also, this pattern looks like leopard print, but if you look closely it is a beautiful floral print.
